Incident at the location Pracherstieg 1 / Alte Heerstraße 9, 38644 Goslar on 27.07.2022

The following update with good news:

The slightly injured employee is doing well and the buildings as well as the stored goods have not suffered any damage. We were able to resume our operations at 6:00 a.m. today.

A battery of a forklift truck caused an outgassing that led to the hazardous situation being triggered. Therefore, the entire building had to be evacuated and appropriate measurements had to be taken. After completion of the activities, the fire department handed over the premises to the Braunschweig Trade Supervisory Office. After further measurements, the entire premises were released again in the late afternoon.

We are relieved that no further damage was caused. Since operations at this location could not be resumed yesterday, we are currently working at full speed to process orders and have deployed additional employees in order picking for this purpose. As far as possible, we already redirected incoming goods deliveries to other locations yesterday. The Customer Service teams are also available again today without restriction as your local contacts.
